Todd Rogers and Phil Dalhausser won the AVP Cuervo Gold Crown event in Dallas today. You can find all their scores from Dallas here - http://www.toddjrogers.com/2008.html#Dallas
Congrats to you and Phil on winning Dallas. Sean and Jake have really pushed you guys to the limits first in Australia and this weekend. Just got to watch you guys in action in the Miami finals, pretty much flawless. As far as the telecast itself, I never thought I'd ever say this but I miss Mike Goldberg. Geeter is a great mc and a good play-by-play guy but doing both at the same time...I rather just listen to Karch and Sinjin. Sorry, went off on a tangent there. Continued success in Huntington Beach and less 3 set matches.
Garret- Took one less 3 set match this past weekend in Dallas. Progress? Phil and I are playing okay at best with the exception of the Miami final where we were very good. Jake and Rosy are playing at a high level right now which is to be expected given the position they find themselves in with regards to the Olympics.
Todd, I'd settle for all your matches going two games with you winning by at least 4 points, plus you taking the first turn at 5-2, but I'm a little biased!! Comment about Huntington: Not that any team would but technically a team could win their first two matches and qualify for Sunday's Cuervo Gold crown and then tank it to conserve their energy for the next day. Is that a smart strategy to win $50,000?

Garret- It is only $25,000 split for the winners of the Cuervo triple crown sunday. Not worth tanking.
