WELCOME HOME CHAMP! Must feel good to not live out of a suitcase. I see you got some of the cool Polo USA swag from the games. The shirts the US team wore in the closing ceremonies were sweet. Yes bask in the glory but there is still some loot to be won on the sand in 2008 so get your mind right to claim that cash. I watched the USA Mens Indoor triumph last night. I wonder if any of those guys have a future in the sand. The Olympics were fascinating and far exceeded my expectations for an entertainment vehicle.
umassjsp, I was actually going to say that too. Clay Stanley & Reid Priddy (who has already played in a few tourneys) on the beach in a few years? Sean Rooney also played in a few tourneys too.

TODD!! WOOOHO! The champs have returned home. I'm so proud of you guys. Enjoy being home with the friends and family. I wish I could have welcomed ya back, but I'm on the other side of the states... plus in classes. You have some awesome memories to share with your family one day.. so live it up!
Todd nice to see the warm welcome back in SB. YOU DIDI IT! Must be stoked. What is you rnext "goal" ? Would be curious how soon after the gold medal match the words "AVP" or "Cincinatti" were discussed with Phil. ; )

"Once he gets himself here and settled, we're going to coordinate a time and have just a big town celebration for him. At that point, we will present him with a proclamation from the city to him, and have an opportunity for all the people locally in town to congratulate him," said Solvang Mayor Linda Jackson.
Todd will also be the grand marshal in Solvang's Christmas parade.
Zhan Li- Thank you and will blog more on Beijing.
Scott- Yes to the suitcase. I would say that several of them do. Reid and Rooney for sure. Riley has played a fair amount too.
Garret- Some of it. They had a big screen but when we walked we were away from the screen for about 45 minutes. Amazing stuff though.
