I just woke up and see Phil and Tood put a smackdown on China in just 38 minutes...didnt even break a sweat. Wong and Jennings finish with a 9th and the gals didnt sniff a medal. As usual Todd and Phil need to carry the flag. Should Beach teams have a single name like wrestling tag teams? There used to be a WWF tag team called The Executioners...maybe Todd and Phil could recycle that one and get some posters and T Shirts made. GO FOR GOLD!
As usual well done to date Todd. I to ask what is up with the USA Women? They have not been on the podium in 6 straight tournaments (last in Switzerland - Misty/Nicole Bronze). A great finish for Casey/KW for playing thier first tournament together.
Wow! What an interesting win today in Finland. I followed via live scoring. Based on the scores 24-22, 10-21, 15-13, it looks like it was a tough win today. I will watch later today on Universal Sport to see how you did it.
Nice finish to a bit of a bummer of a week or two for volleyball. No AVP, but our quiet hometown (Ventura) boy and his crafty partner done good!
