The puppy has grown a ton. Doubled in size in 3 weeks. He is 10 weeks old now, 99% potty trained, uses the doggy door about half the time - especially to come into the house and has generally been a great dog with a great personality. Our older lab, Sully, now plays with him every day. They play tug of war and run all around the house sliding on the wood floors. Hilarious!
Nothing happening in the volleyball world except a whole lot of #$%@. If I get any truly positive news will update.

Great to hear that Gage is acclimating to the environment there. Enjoy the holiday with the family and root for the Pats tomorrow vs the Detroit Kittens. Brady might be hurt so I wouldnt take Pats -6.5 on the road.
I sent a comment on Facebook to Barnett and Ried Priddy from the Net Live Podcast. Something to the effect that the new USA Volleyball Beach tour has about as much chance of success without Todd and Phil as Sonny Corleone had at the toll booth. I was shocked to download the latest show and heard those guys say my name and read my comment.
Barnett's reaction was basically that volleyball players are mercenaries and will go anywhere that a good payday is offered......including this new tour. He said if there was an old school rules tourney with a $200K pot all the top players would come of Mount Pious and play. Priddy got back on his soapbox of saying the players and management have to grow the sport for the long term so there will be a future. He wants a players union that will give a piece of the pie to all players so athletes can take up the sport and have a future in it. Priddy sounds like a smart kid but he might be living in a dream world. Almost Communist thinking.
Good fodder for conversation for us fans but for the guys and gals that are trying to make a living all this posturing must be real aggravating. Barnett also mentioned that the Volleyball Jesus Karch Kirlay is upset with some of the commentary on his show. I didnt even know people listened to this podcast but at least I got some adhoc publicity for myself in the California volleyball world.....like the guy in The Jerk when he saw his name in the phonebook.
