Went to Brasil last week for an exhibition. Was expecting sunny skies and to come back nice and tan. I did get 2 days of nice weather and then it started dumping and didn't stop. At least it was warm rain and not freezing cold like it has been at home.
Phil and I played Ricardo and Marcio in a 2X2 exhibition fun match. They won 21-15, 21-19. Then Kerri Walsh and Brooke Hanson played Larissa and Juliana. Brazil won 21-16, 21-14. It was raining during both those matches but not to bad. On Sunday we were supposed to play a 4X4 Coed match but when we got to the court it was completely flooded. Would have been like playing in a swamp. They decided to cancel the match which was kind of a bummer. Would have been fun to play in those conditions and I liked our chances of winning.
Hope everyone had a great Christmas and Happy New Years!

Very cool that you were able to break away from Brasil long enough to attend the Nettie awards: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNRMtQ48b4o
Happy New Year Todd. I am sure your getting fired up for the new volleyball season. Talk to you soon.
I just downloaded the latest Net Live podcast on iTunes and it says Professor Todd Rogers was the guest of honor. Looking forward to listening to that at the gym tomorrow. We are getting another snowstorm of up to 10 inches on Friday. Kids already missed 1 day school this week and this will be another. People here in New England arent "hearty"...we freak out every snow storm. People but food like the world is going to end. Crazy....have a good weekend...GO UMass! Scott
