Riverside to Brazil

AVP Riverside this weekend. Always interesting to go to a new site as well as a site off of the beach. I don't think I have ever been to Riverside. I have heard they are revamping the downtown area. We shall see.

I follow Riverside by leaving for Brasilia, Brazil on Sunday night. Fly the red-eye to JFK and then down to Sao Paolo and Brasilia. Hopefully it will be a good flight. Get back home the following Monday. Should have time to Blog a bit more while in Riverside and Brazil.

Safe travels and good luck Todd. I have been getting my arse kicked at work lately but at least I have a job. Getting 2 hours of sleep some nights has destroyed me and my workouts. Project ends tonight so if all goes well I get some days off for the kids April vacation next week.

I got an email from the AVP about something new on their website. I hope they stream Riverside. Yeah give us some fodder on the blog from South of the Equator...great stuff...Scott from Cape Cod

Hi Todd,
I'm sure you're looking forward to competing on the FIVB - despite not getting in much practice time w/ the jet-setting Phil! Best of luck on this tour too.

And speaking of international play, when you have a chance can you describe what the beach vb qualifications changes are for the London 2012 Olympics. Hopefully, the host country does not get the top seed. Yikes!

Thanks again,
Steve

nice win. Saw some of it on avp net tv. Phil looked a little tired. Hope all the hoopla surrounding press obligations hasn't taken away from the fun of it. Got to feel good to get on that flight to Brazil witha win though. I really think alot of people overlook your serve reception accuracy, easy to make Phil look good setting. Keep smiling, you are truely blessed to be making a living from the thing you love. Safe travels. Sounds like an ugly connection at JFK.

Jeff- Thanks. I appreciate the comments at the end too. I think I am good passer but Phil really does have some of if not the best hands in the world.

Scott- Keep plugging away. Hopefully you are on that vacation as I type.

Steve- Will get to the 2012 qualifications. Lot of hoopla surrounding that hear in Brasil and hope to learn more.
