Hans Stolfus Blog

Hans Stolfus mentioned this blog on his blog.

Hans was very complimentary towards Phil and Todd in his posting on the San Diego event -

"On Saturday, we opened up play with Dalhausser/Rogers and got crushed. They’re just too good. They really are. I know they had an off weekend and took a 5th. And I know this could have been my best shot to beat them. But I also know that their 50% game is better than 98% of the rest of the field. And I know we didn’t play well enough to warrant a victory. What’s truly unfortunate is; how we let our negative mojo carry over into the next match with Prosser/Brazao at 9th place in the loser’s bracket. So, to recap against Phil and Todd, we got them in trouble on our serves, but it wasn’t enough to get them out of rhythm, Phil blocked every hard driven ball I made even the slightest mistake on, and Todd dug every shot I didn’t place exactly where I wanted. They’re awesome, and they’re still going to win Houston despite their little set back at the worst beach volleyball venue ever assembled."

Hans's blog is like Todd's - candid remarks about the AVP tour and his experiences. Hans is just beginning to reply to blog postings like Todd does so often.
Foprtunately - gone are the days when Hans and Todd were hesitant (understandably) to comment about anything AVP.

Todd,

Since you mentioned Hans' blog, I wondered what your thoughts were regarding this post: http://hansstolfus.com/?p=552
Specifically him postulating that you and Phil will dissolve your partnership at the end of the current season. Any validity in his thoughts?

Thanks.

Thanks Todd for linking this through. And I meant what I said, you guys are going to win Houston. And about the comment regarding my blog and prediction for the 2012 Olympiad, that's just speculation and enjoyable to discuss. I think you got it in you for another Gold. If you remain healthy, why not? And if you don't go, you're still going to win your share of Opens as long you keep playing.

See you in Texas.

Anonymous and Hans- He could be right he could be wrong. Not really sure what I am going to do or Phil for that matter. After last season Phil said he wanted to run it all the way back to London. I was a bit more hesitant and told him I would like to see where I was personally after the 2009 season before I committed to that. I have been doing this for quite some time now and I wanted to make sure the fire and desire were still there. So the plan is to go full speed this year. Play international ball and AVP and then make the decision if I feel it is too much. I have kids and responsibilities at home that Phil doesn't have. He will certainly be there but if it is with me or someone else is yet to be determined. Your much like Nostradamus Hans. You predicted Houston for Phil and I and I appreciate the vote of confidence. Did you also predict your 3rd place finish with Anthony? By the way, congrats on that.
