Good win Todd! Had me on the edge of my Lazy Boy though. Phil playing some D and you getting a block....good stuff. The Frat Boys tried the short serve and it seemed like you guys adjusted well but they kept going to the well. They must be totally frustrated now going 0-5 against you guys. 34-0 is AWESOME streak but now every team will be gunning to be the streak breakers so you guys better be up for every match. INCREDIBLE RUN...KEEP IT GOING!

One thing I dont understand is why dont teams get in an I formation. Then when the server tosses the ball up you break so they cant serve who they want to or at best have to guess. Maybe guys just like to stay on one side or dont want to burn the energy but I would like to see it sometime. Have a great week everyone...as former UMass Coach John Calipari says..."If you can dream it...you can DO it"....Scott, Cape Cod, MA

Great win. Especially the win over Rosie/Gibb. It is not about winning over them, but more about sending the RR's home.

Todd..

Watch this: http://vimeo.com/5072540

There are several parts. This is the key to making the AVP huge. I can see a future in the administration and promotion of volleyball after your playing days are over.

This is a story about how pro bowling was saved, and I think relevant to pro beach volleyball.

That was one of my favorite matches I've ever watched you guys play. I thought John and Scott were really on their games. John was playing fantastic defense, anticipating you well, and Sean was blocking great. It was reminiscent of their best matches against you guys last year.

What also had me in suspense was the fact that I thought the TV slot for the final was limited to an hour, the way it used to be. A few years back, you could always tell if a match was going to be won in two games if they didn't skip through either part of the first game or the 2nd game. When they started showing your 2nd game right from the beginning, I figured Sean/John had prevailed. What a great surprise to see that you won the 2nd, and then of course, won the 3rd in resounding manner.

If I've ever seen you put on a better digging exhibition, I don't remember it. Lots of the digs you came up with in the 2nd and 3rd sets were jaw-dropping.

Congrats again, and go get 'em in Klagenfurt.

Can't believe you guys drew Rosie/Gibb again in your pool / 1st match. That's just weird...
