Todd and Phil laid a good old American style arse whipping on the Norweigans and Italians. Took just 68 minutes total to beat those ham and eggers. You guys need to keep pounding these teams and not take your foot of their throats. As I mentioned last year the country of Norway has huge oil reserves. They must be living large over there these days. If I could do it over I would marry a Norweigan broad and live off the government over there in Scandinavia. Instead I am working night and day so I will be able to buy home heating oil this Winter and not freeze to death. Have a great week Todd and the same to all the posters here. Scott from Cape Cod

Well Done Gentleman! Back to Back Gold! I am smelling Gold now in Beijing.

Game 1 = What a comeback. A true battle of siding out. Your mental toughness won this game.

Game 2 = Phil blocking came alive in the last third of this game.
USA! USA! USA!

Good luck in Russia, as you battle on for that #1 seed (or #2 depending on how the Chinese men finish).

One thing the FIVB has over the AVP,
they certainly don't skimp on the awards ceremony. Loved seeing you and Phil raise the swords. Hopefully there'll be a picture to download off the FIVB website.

if Emanual/Ricardo don't place top three in Moscow and Todd/Phil get fourth or better,
Todd and Phil can earn a 1 seed...

In other words Moscow should be interesting with a little more on the line for the top two teams in the world

Congrats on the back-to-back wins!

To get the top seed, Phil and Todd need to finish in at least fourth place, plus at least one place better than Emanual/Ricardo. They also need the Chinese men to stay in seventh so they don't automatically get the top seed.

Thanks guys. Russia should be interesting with a lot of drama. Not too much for us but for other teams. We have seeding riding on how we do but it could be a moot point if China does well. I will blog on the interesting points.
